We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law — generally within 45 days for US requests and within 30 days for EU/UK requests, with one extension period where permitted. In the preceding 12 months, DVC has collected the following categories of personal information from California consumers:

- Commercial information — services purchased, payment history, engagement tier
- Internet or network activity — browsing behavior on our website, pages visited, referral source
- Geolocation data — general location inferred from IP address
- Professional or employment-related information — job title, company size, industry
- Inferences — consumer profiles drawn from the above to understand preferences and predict behavior
Sources and business purposes
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through our website via cookies and tracking technologies, and from identity resolution and data enrichment partners. We use this information for service delivery, account management, marketing communications, security, and analytics as described in Section 2.
Your rights under California law

- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — you may direct us to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to the purposes authorized by the CPRA.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights.

California residents may request information about personal information shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. DVC does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes without your express consent.

Authorized agents must provide a signed permission from you. We will respond within 45 days, with one extension of up to 45 additional days when reasonably necessary, with notice.

Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, satisfy contractual obligations, and comply with legal requirements. Client engagement data is typically retained for 7 years to satisfy accounting and tax obligations. Marketing and analytics data is retained for up to 3 years from the last interaction unless you request deletion earlier.
Your rights under GDPR

International transfers
DVC is based in the United States. If you are located in the EU or UK, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other appropriate safeguards for such transfers. See Section 9 for additional detail.

DVC's services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. By using our website or services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to the minor's use.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will deactivate the relevant account and take reasonable steps to delete such information from our records. DVC's primary infrastructure and operations are located in the United States. Personal information we collect is processed and stored on servers located in the US and, where we engage third-party processors, potentially in other countries.

- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — we use EU-approved SCCs in contracts with processors and controllers located in countries without a relevant adequacy decision, where applicable
- Adequacy decisions — we rely on European Commission adequacy decisions where available for the relevant destination country
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework — where our US processors are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, we rely on that framework as the applicable transfer mechanism
- Supplementary measures — we assess the legal environment in destination countries and implement technical and organizational supplementary measures as appropriate in accordance with post-Schrems II requirements
